Monk’s

Corner

Random Thought 1:  Greetings my brothers and sisters, how are you doing through this Easter time as we proceed to Pentecost and the birthday of our Church as the Holy Spirit lit up the souls of the apostles with a fire of faith that allowed them to speak to peoples from all over the the Mediterranean area, in their own languages. We are told that Peter was able to convert 3,000 people to proclaim belief in the Lord Jesus, that day. The Apostles changed dramatically, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the Church became the community we have followed down through her history.

Unfortunately, that same community is changing in our generation to something we never wanted it to be; with cardinals arguing with cardinals and bishops with bishops and all with the pope. The Blessed Virgin warned us at Fatima, she told us that Satan would attack the Church by attacking marriage and the family. That is all she said, that all evil depends on the destruction of marriage and the family. So what does attack these honored sacred sacraments? Many things today are obvious attacks:  abortion, contraception, acceptance of homosexuality, pornography, which is a billion dollar industry, gender confusion, ease of divorce, ease of annulments, the destruction of the marriage bond by lowering it to an agreement between a man and a woman to hook up until they get tired of each other. They marry in any public venue that is made for parties even down to the local saloon. I could go on but it starts to get nauseous.

My friends, we have quite q job to do, but most of all we must pray the rosary of the Virgin Mary because her Immaculate Heart and the Divine Heart of Jesus will win this battle with evil and we have to be sure we are on the right side, when he comes in glory.
